From Well Data to Decisions
Petroleum engineering runs on data: production reports, well histories, water cut and oil prices, and much of it is published openly. In one live session you will work with that data yourself in Excel and Google Sheets: read a North Sea field's whole production history, fit a simple decline curve, and put Nigeria's crude output beside the oil price.
The next cohort has not been scheduled yet.

From Well Data to Decisions
A field's decline and water cut in Excel, a simple decline curve, Nigeria's output beside the Brent price, a lithium example, and Google Sheets for live data
Real data, not toy examples
You practise on the same messy files analysts get at work
Every dataset is public and free to download, so you can keep using it after the course.

Outcomes
By the last week you will be able to
Find a field's peak, its decline from peak and its water cut with a few formulas
Fit a simple exponential decline curve and check it against what really happened
Clean a regulator's report into a table you can chart
Put Nigeria's crude output beside the Brent price and test whether they move together
Pull a public table into Google Sheets and share your work
